What more can you do with a single rose? A great gift for kids. colorful, funky and fun.
Cut out two wide strips from an Aspidistra leave and put them on top of each other. Fold the two strips double and cut out half a heart from the middle.
Put a thin layer of low temp glue on one of the two identical hearts that have been created. Allow the glue to dry for a minute to improve the adhesion of the glue. Take a thin coloured bamboo stick and put the stick on the heart with the glue on it. Now put the second heart on the heart covered with glue and press firmly.
Wrap a strip of felt around the stem at 2 or 3 centimeters below the receptacle. Lay a bamboo stick against the felt edge and continue to wrap, repeat this on the other side of the rose and wrap the whole with felt. Use for the last bamboo stick one of the sticks with a Aspirisda heart stuck onto it. Wrap coloured iron wire around the felt edge to secure the whole.
Secure the two bamboo sticks with a piece of coloured winding wire to the bottom of the stem of the rose. This way the bamboo sticks are placed parallel to the stem of the rose.
